Donald J. Moyer, Jr., M.D., a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, received his medical degree from Chicago?s Northwestern University. He performed his general surgery internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where he also did his residency in neurosurgery. Following his residency training, Dr. Moyer did his fellowship in Neuro-oncology at the Children?s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Everything was great.
I would not recommend this doctor. Despite 2 years of treatment and two surgeries he was unable to diagnose or treat a basic and obvious hip condition as the source of my pain. I demanded imaging of my hip and then located another doctor without Moyer's assistance who immediately diagnosed the issue and replaced both hips. Six months later I am walking normally and pain free. As a professional myself I believe him to be indifferent, a very poor communicator and careless in his methods.
Dr. Moyer and his staff were very informative and helpful regarding my surgery and recovery. They filed everything with my insurance, and my experience was very positive.
DR. MOYER HAS PROVIDED VERY GOOD CARE AND ADVICES. I AM VERY SATISFIED AND HAPPY ABOUT THE OPERATION HE PERFORMED. THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT. I WOULD RECOMMEND DR. MOYER TO PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A VERY GOOD, COMPETENT AND UNDERSTANDING NEUROLOGIST.
Great Doctor Very Caring
Dr. Moyer listens to my concerns and answers all my questions. He has preformed a four disc fusion in my neck and now no problems. Going back to Dr. Moyer in April for four disc fusion and lumbar area.
Very efficient,friendly anc caring. No complaints. .
