Dr. McKenzie has been absolutely amazing for my kids. She picked up on a rare disorder with my daughter when she was just a few months old and has helped us to navigate the, at times, difficult waters. She has always given advice and explained things so that we could make informed decisions regarding our children’s care. If it weren’t for ridiculous insurance protocols, I would follow her to the ends of the earth so she can continue to be my daughter’s pediatrician. The weather has been horrendous the past two days. Getting a two year old and a 5 moth old ready along with bad traffic I was 10 mins late to an appointment(came from Canyon BTW). The receptionist was trying to get us to the back room, but apparently Dr McKenzie was mad we were late and told the receptionist to reschedule the appointment. Nothing makes me happier than for both of us to take time off and have to be rescheduled. It was just shots. I'm done with this business. I think it’s very sad to have unprofessional and unorganized doctors like this one. I work in the medical field as well and no, I am not a doctor at all but I would never make a patient waste their time or make them feel like they are being played with. Dr. Mackenzie was already making me feel agitated a couple of times but she never told me to stay and wait for my newborn to get her shots.
