She (and dr Patel) are great doctors but every visit resulted in very long waits. Twice over an hour. They are very clearly overbooking. High quality providers but frustrating as my time is valuable.
Dr. Ozog is a highly talented, professional, & caring physician. She cares about her patients and their well being. She's the first one there & the last one to leave (I've seen that for myself at both extremes). She's willing to push the envelope to make sure her patients get results & results that are optimal. As for her support staff unfortunately, I can't say the same, especially the newer ones. The staff she started out w/when I 1st started with her where efficient. Now they are mediocre.
I have gone to Dr Ozog for over 20 years for my asthma and allergies. In that time she has helped me manage my disease so successfully that I have only had 1 emergency room visit and no decrease in pulmonary function. I am in my 60's now and a nurse so I appreciate that level of care. On many of my well patient visits I have had to wait but I know that when my turn comes, Dr Ozog will take as long as she needs with me too and not let the length of the visit be determined by the clock.
We arrived on time for our appointment, and took perhaps ten minutes to fill out new patient paperwork. After waiting 50 minutes after our appointment time with a toddler and a newborn, and without explanation as to why we were waiting so long, we decided to leave. Also, while I cannot rate quality of treatment, the receptionists' inability to take our concern seriously, as well as the multiple patients that went in before us although they arrived after we did, gives heed to service quality.
Unless you like waiting around in an office for over an hour, don't go here! Staff did not let us know until we were waiting for an hour (with 2 toddlers) that the doctor was out on a medical emergency. I totally understand the medical emergency, but not letting us know until after we were waiting for am hour? Doctor came in and rushed through the appointment and had a preconceived diagnosis, which, after a second opinion, was totally incorrect because she didn't listen!
