Dr Pelaes is a great dentist. He will explain everything before you do a decision.
This was by far the best experience at a dental office. The hygienist communicated very well so that I knew what she was doingall the time. She was also very thorough and extremely gentle.

The dental procedure provided by Dr. Pelaez, and his dental hygienist, was the very best. The office staff are also to be recognized for their friendly and professional customer service. I highly recommend Dentistry of Virginia Beach to all my friends and family!
At first I was a little skeptical of the idea of setting up separate exams for the consultation/radiographs and the cleaning. However, after I got there and had my consultation and then rads and exam with Dr. Bander I was very impressed! This was easily the most comprehensive oral exam I’ve had done. I appreciate that everything was explained thoroughly.

Good experience
The day of my appointment @ 10am I had an appointment with my regular Dr. I go to him cause he is a thorough and caring Dr and any obstacle I encounter before I see him doesn’t distract me including his only receptionist. When I showed up for my dental appointment I felt very welcomed from the time I walked in until I left, and the receptionist even handled the older gentleman who came in about a bill he wasn’t happy about real well. Thank you for the comfortable welcoming visits.
Every time I go to Dr. Pelaez’ office I am pleased with the service. My latest visit was only for a cleaning, and Leandra did a fantastic job ... my teeth never felt cleaner. Previous visits involved work on a crown, and I was most impressed by Dr. Pelaez’ patience in diagnosing the problem, explaining the issues/options and making the fix. After relocating from Williamsburg, I’m thrilled that I have Dr. Pelaez as my new dentist!
