Well versed, patient. Diagnosed a serious problem and followed up with phone calls before and after surgery to check my condition.

I'm reading these other reviews and I am utterly shocked. I had a completely different experience with Dr. Ostrovskiy. He performed an EMG test on me and he was a delight to converse with. He's quite well-versed. He is very prompt with the appointments I've been to. He's been thorough in his exams and even remembered my concerns from a previous visit. As for his staff, so far, I haven't had any negative experience. Any questions I had when I called were promptly answered.

I called his office twice and spoke two of his office staffs, one is Nane Falane. I explained to her that I am an individual whose life is affected with limb girdle muscular dystrophy type 2b currently in need of a neurologist that has é experience in muscular dystrophy rather than a neurologist who specializes in the brain. I was told the Dr said he will not pick up my call because his policy is to come for a visit first. Basically he sees money before patient care. Nor a Dr at heart.

Very dismissively. Passive aggressive. Just wanted to feed me pills and not listen to my concerns.

I was sent to Dr. Ostrovskiy to have a deep skin biopsy to check for neuropathy. He was condescending and disparaging throughout his high speed interaction with me, even making fun of me because I DARED use the word allodynia. He then engaged in a cruel refusal to share the results with me. I immediately surmised that the results were bad (they were) and would likely result in a life style change (they will). I was literally begging for the results for 5 days; I was refused. My rheum told me.
