Dr. kumar was the very first cardiologist that actually listened when I talked, takes that into consideration & comes up with a plan that makes us both happy, she checks on me every 3 months with a video chat between appointments, all this to avoid me from having a heart attack, she is one of the best I have ever seen, I would recommend her to anyone looking for a cardiologist that cares. I would not recommend Dr. Kumar. She does not follow up with Mychart. I have a condition that requires 6 month scans. No response from the doctor regarding results. We discussed my concern and Dr. Kumar stated she would respond to Mychart. That hasn't happened. She is rude and I will seek a new cardiologist.
Dr Kumar has been my cardiologist for several years. She is kind, compassionate and caring.
Having to switch cardiologists after 30 years, I met Dr Kumar when hospitalized with AFIB. Within 2 weeks I followed up with her and was cardioverted. She is very straight forward and knowledgeable. She put all my fears to rest, I feel much at ease under her care.
Dr Kumar is caring, thorough, and compassionate. Within minutes of meeting her, I was at ease, and felt that I was under excellent care.
