DO NOT SEE DR. DEEPAN SELVADURAI. I would leave 0 stars if that was an option here. My father, 66 years old, went to this doctor for cataract surgery months ago. Dr. Deepan Selvadurai put in the completely WRONG lens (making my fathers vision very limited for his needs) and refuses to even take my father’s calls to fix his mistake, which he has admitted to. I have been a patient of Dr. Deepan Selvadurai for nearly five years, and I followed him from his old practice to Buffalo Ophthalmology. He is extremely knowledgeable in the area of glaucoma care, and is constantly learning about new developments in the field. He always makes time to answer any questions I have, and he surrounds himself with an outstanding team. He has my wholehearted endorsement!
I think that one comment meant to say is competent.. u just have to read their entire review. I too am extremely pleased with Dr Selvadorai. He is very knowledgeable and explains well. He is #1 in my book.
I have been seeing Dr. Selvadurai for several years for treatment of glaucoma and most recently cataracts. I had surgery in both eyes and my vision is excellent. He is extremely professional, competent and easy to talk to about your problems. His treatment of my glaucoma has reduced by pressure to 15-16 consistently. He also keeps in close contact with my regular Ophthalmologist.
Dr. Selvadurai isn’t very competent and professional. After treatment for Glaucooma with eye drops I had cataract surgery with an Omni goniotomy performed by Dr. Selvadurai. He is very skilled with these procedures and I no longer need eye drops.
I consider Dr.selvadurai a very competent physican .He is kind thorough and someone I would refer my family and friend to without hesitation.I am a very critical patient as far as medical care is concerned and I know i am in good hands with this physician

After being diagnosed with cataracts and having elevated eye pressure (glaucoma). I was a bit apprehensive with the concept of the procedure required to resolve my issues. Having had Stents placed in both eyes and cataract lens surgery by Dr. Selvadurai I now enjoy clear excellent vision and am quite pleased with the result.
