This doctor is not a dermatologist. She uses a gimmicky light box "skin analysis" to sell a line of skin care products and promote certain procedures, in order to pay for a brand new facility that seems to have been designed to look upscale and make you feel like you're in a spa or something. I had come for botox injections for the vertical lines I develop between my eyebrows, but Kontny proceeded to inject several additional units of botox, including on either side of my eyes. Patient beware. Doctor made an extreme error and tried to blame her staff. I felt unheard and told I had to have services that were unnecessary (skin analysis) as a marketing gimmick, to add to costs. The worst medical experience I have ever had.
Made an an egregious error (which was not detected for a week despite many complaints of pain) during surgery causing me to have two more surgeries to correct the damage. Doctor was arrogant and uncaring about the damage she caused. This doctor is reckless and I wouldn't let her near anyone I care about.
Has great staff but feel as though her judgment is not very good. More about money then patient care so it seems.
I have severe migraines. Have had botox injectins for them before. I explained my concerns & told her I had it done before & wanted to start them again because they worked. 4 days after the top half of my face has actually slid down so far that you can barely see my eyes. The staff was very professional and the Dr. is very skilled and professional. Great team of people,
My insurance doesn't matter, I felt very slighted, like she really didn't want to take care of me.she got called out of the room when we were talking about my surgery and said she would be right back,,she never came back . I have had many surgerys and for the first time I was nervous about who was taking care of me. Disappointed.
Dr. Kontny and her team are knowledgeable caring and extremely professional. I highly recommend them.
She and her staff are great. Very knowledgable and caring.
