It is sad sign that such a good doc doesn’t perform surgery at our hospital and goes else where? I found my whole appointment odd, I was there for my veins and she seemed to disregard them and said she just couldn’t see very well, the room was so dim and she had a special light. She moved onto wanting to do surgery for my hernia, but said she works out of Butte. I have received Botox in the past and went to Dr. Kontny (2nd time) and three days later my eye was extremely droopy. I called and asked if there was anything they could do and told there was not. After I researched online, I called back and told them there was drops that could be prescribed to help the problem. They were surprised and then called them in which took a week to get them! $60.00 drops at that. They asked me to come in for facials?? Like that was going to help?!?
Dr. Debra and her staff were very friendly and knowledgeable they answered all my questions and felt very welcome to their facilities. Thank you.
I cannot believe this woman still is licensed to practice. I know of 2 people and myself that have suffered at the hands of her terrible skills as a surgeon. All 3 of us, had to have corrective surgeries. One of us is still dealing with the wreckage she caused over 3 years ago and will live with the damage for the rest of her life.
Dr. Kontny is nothing more than a saleswoman. She doesn't care at all about her patients or their concerns. She has a horrible time keeping staff because not only is she a monster to work for, she doesn't know what she is doing. Anyone with ethics quickly leaves this practice. I went to Dr. Kontny for help with a scar and she wanted to sell me an expensive package of laser treatments. I let them do a couple laser treatments and still have burn marks from two years ago. Dr. Kontny is very knowledgeable and skilled physician and surgeon. Her staff are empathetic and caring. They are very helpful with the procedures.
Not only have I witnessed her yelling at her staff but have also been very pushed to buy products. This doctor is extremely money hungry and would do anything for it. She in fact is a wanna-be plastic surgeon and she only does it cuz it's cash payment. Crazier than a squirrel nut. She has great stuff but they must be nutty too to work with such a wreckless Dr.
My boyfriend had a hernia repair almost three years ago. Within a month the incision became infected and he was hospitalized for a week for IV antibiotics. Just a few months later the infection returned and spread within his abdomen requiring a second procedure be done. This time his stomach was left to heal from the inside out and it left a horrible scar that left him feeling very self conscious.
