I started seeing Dr Ellis in the latter part of 2011 for severe lower back pain (two bulging discs). While I was seeing him I had formed the opinion that the guy was a huge jerk. He acted like he didn't care about what I was saying and half the time he wouldn't even listen to my symptoms. His decided treatment for my back was epidural steroid injections. I cannot believe anyone in this office still holds a valid medical license. They are abusive and rude. Dr. Ellis wife (I believe she is a physical therapist?) bullied me and refused to answer ANY of my questions. When I asked if she would please let me finish a question because I didn't understand what she was saying, she literally huffed out of the office, stomped back in and violently scratched my patient status off my chart. Very unprofessionally joking about testrone level in front of others even though he had not checked the count. We waited on the doc for 4 hours on 5 different visits. Dr. lied and and did not keep the records straight. When patient told him his med's were not working he lowered the dose. Called several different times during our vacation requesting a pill cound when he drove all the way there to get the script and told them he had to have it because we were leaving out of town. Front office staff are very unaccomodating and detached. One would hope a practice which treats people's pain would attempt to make paitients as comfortable as possible. This does not happen here.No complaints about the professional staff. I think they are very qualified.
This physican and his staff use their office as a drive thru for injections! They continually wrote my RX for the incorrect amount! He had initially prescribed me 5 pills a day and wrote the RX for 150 pills. For the next 3 or 4 visits they kept writing it for 60. I repeatedly told them my INS only allows me 6 RX's a month and I have 5 medications therefore I would have to pay for my medication which I cannot afford. Went to see this Doctor. Was very upset with the results. Told me i had something totally different than what is wrong with me and didn't want to help me with anything, just kept telling me to do the same things i already tried. Will never recomend anyone see this doctor.
The staff is very unprofessional and rude. This doctor should be banned. I have seen dealted with plenty of medical doctors and office workers, but they are the worse of worse.
I love Dr. Ellis and his staff. He has helped me more than all of the other Dr. I have been to, all added together.
how can a dr turn you away for another dr releasing you for a drug test that was wrong when he does not drug test his own pat. i know for a fact he has pat. that his high and on tabs as well as percs, every month and now he has given her methodone and still no drug test this pat. will od on this stuff she already overdoses on percs and tabs and weed to the point she cant drive. so what kind of a dr is that that wont drug test but wont take you if you failed one.
