I too am an advocate for both my parents who are patients of Dr Neuman. This “Dr.”should have his license revoked. I’ve been trying for 4 years to speak with him regarding my parents mental & physical health. He has never called back. His “assistant “ does anything but assistant. The first 3 letters say it all. Where is this man that he doesn’t have time or compassion to speak with concerned family members? No one in that office has a clue. As an advocate for one of his patients, I found him to be hostile and rude. He hadn't bothered to update himself regarding the patients recent consults. He had no idea the procedures that had been done, or the situation. He refused to listen to the patient tell him what he wanted. He rather dictated the care for him not fully understanding what had been done. He represents Humana perfectly. Managed care. "What he says goes"; and so much for patient's wishes. Good luck anyone navigating this mans care.
As an advocate for my father, He wasn't updated on recent procedures. Didn't listen to us; Cut him off mid sentence..and was hostile and rude. Will be looking for another MD. Bad bedside manner isn't tolerated these days. was very disappointed.
I wrote a review for Dr Neuman months ago and gave him five stars. He is a great doctor but unfortunately PPC is no longer a great facility and if you can't get in touch with the doctor what's the sense. Receptionist never answer the phone anymore you have to leave a voicemail and it takes usually a day or two them to get back to you and then you have to leave a voicemail of the doctors assistant. Waited three weeks for something urgent with no response got a new doctor today. Unprofessional.
I have been a patient of Dr. Neuman for over 10 years (I'm 65). He truly cares about his patients. Don't confuse his initial quietness with apathy- it's quite the opposite. He listens and he reviews medical history before speaking. He answers questions and explains treatments and terminology. He is the real deal.
