Dr. David Mintzer, MD is the best choice!!! His a wonderful doctor, extremely kind, and very caring towards his patient even when I moved to another state. I had been his patient for the previous 4 years. However, in the past two years, when I called him to ask his advices about my new problems, he was always helpful, explained and answered me whenever possible or he called me back. He also told me not to worry too much. Just wait for the biopsy result. Not all results are cancer. If there is a bad result, he will discuss it... read more

Not the oncologist for a stage IV patient. Though he is very smart, he refuses to think outside of the realm of standard of care, and is often times very rushed and apathetic. When he called to give me his condolences on my dad's passing, he started with: "I knew this was going to be a train wreck from the start." I understand that our outcome would not have been different with another oncologist, but a little bit of hope and empathy make a huge difference for the patient and their family....
