I don’t understand how the intake getting my information and a list of current medications and being matched with a Dr that doesn’t prescribe them is helpful. Also I found it weird/creepy that the Dr texted me trying to change the appointment

I looked up Dr. Kim on my heath insurance website. It stated he was accepting new patients. It took a min to get the first appointment scheduled but when that came it turned out it was strictly an intake appointment. The actual appointment was scheduled at the intake appointment time for 4-5 weeks later. During this time I made a few calls to see if there was any cancelations (there wasn't).
