Office is on the smaller side but nice and modern. Received many ultrasounds. Was given all of my options and encouraged to make my own decisions on how I wanted my birth. Rarely had to wait long, besides when the Dr had to go to the hospital for an occasional emergency. Liked that I didn't have to go to a separate lab for urine tests or blood drawing. At first visit, the office staff seemed a little frustrated with me because I didn’t have my records w/ me. And couldn’t be too flexible with appointments. But I filled out all my medical release forms in advance and thought they would handle that. Slight miscommunication. After that incident I met dr Sawyer… she took my on as a new patient in my LAST trimester. Dr. Sawyer was our ONGYN 4 years ago and delivered our son. It was our first pregnancy and Dr. Sawyer made us comfortable from the very first appointment. I looked forward to every appointment not only to check on the baby, but to also see Dr. Sawyer as well. There were a few hiccups during delivery, but her expertise and knowledge brought us reassurance and we have a happy, healthy 4 year old now! I wouldn’t want to go through another pregnancy unless she was our Dr. again!
Dr. Sawyer was absolutely wonderful, friendly, did not rush, took the time (sat down) to answer any/all questions. Knowledgeable. She took great care of me during my pregnancy, referring me to an excellent specialist when the need arose. She delivered my baby via c-section, and everything went smoothly. On another note, the office was quiet, she was the only doctor--so not crowded, friendly and helpful staff. If I still lived in the area, I would continue to see her.
I LOVED Dr. Sawyer! It's been 4 years and I'm still singing her praises. As a black woman. sometimes we're afraid that doctors wont give us equal level of care, and let me tell you, she goes above and beyond, you can tell she loves what she does. Absolutely amazing, but attentive, informative, all ehilenneing fun. This was my first child and she made the experience GREAT.
Always fantastic! I was so bummed when I lost my PPO insurance and could no longer go to her. Three years later and I can afford ( barely ) PPO insurance. So, here I am. C=Ready to contact her office in hopes that she accepts my PPO! This lady is thorough, pleasant and VERY engaged. She also gets the importance of explaining things in detail.
I referred a surrogate here for care and I cannot say enough about this doctor. She is absolutely wonderful. She never makes anyone feel rushed and she is very attentive. You cannot get a better doctor! She made the experience in the delivery room so special and you can tell that she has an honest passion for what she does.
I have been a patient of Dr Sawyers for almost 7 years, and I can honestly say that she is one of the best Drs I've ever had. She's extremely attentive, caring, and truly concerned for your well being. Dr. Sawyer first diagnosed me with PCOS 6 years ago, and later (after a couple years of help from an endocrinologist) delivered my 4th baby.
