I actually first started using Dr Payne in 1996 or 7 but moved a few times and now in Haughton permanently, he is the most caring and down to earth Doctor I have ever had. He really listens and helps you figure out the best route to take as far as your health goes, top notch Doctor in my books. He’s funny, sweet, caring and compassionate about his patients. I finally got my Hubby in to see him and Joey really likes him. Great Nurses too, love them all!!

Dr. Payne has a way of making the you feel comfortable when meeting with him. He takes his time with you and always listens to you, answering all of your questions. I have never felt rushed or like he was trying to get to his next patient before finishing with me. The respect and confidence I have for Dr. Payne can be measured by the number of years I have been a patient of his, which is well over twenty years.

I love Dr. Payne, he takes his time and really is through. My only complaint is his staff. They are rude and treat you like crap and talk to you like you’re stupid. They complain constantly and are not quite about it, they will complain out loud where everyone can hear it. I will continue to deal with the staff because Dr. Payne is great and finds things most doctors couldn’t or wouldn’t. I would and often send my friends and colleagues to him. I went for a follow-up from an emergency surgery. Dr. Payne takes his time to explain whatever is going on and makes sure his patient understands. He's very thorough. I've been a patient of his for over 20 years. He's and his staff are great.
