The office staff is very C/S oriented, with excellent phone etiquette.Waiting time for this appointment was quick also the waiting time in the office was fast. Went to Dr Duggan and felt he was caring and helpful towards my injury particularly pre op. Following surgery at Mission Surgery Center, after care was very limited and I was escorted outside to my ride still in my surgery gown from recovery room. I’ve failed to heal well and not given options outside of PT from his office for relief. I’ve read the other reviews and Dr Duggan is thoughtful, but my post op and interest in solutions after have not been stellar.
I shattered my kneecap in April. I went to a different surgeon who put three pins in it. After 5 months of physical therapy I could only bend it 67°. My physical therapist recommended I go to Dr Duggan because his patients were doing a lot better than I was. Dr Duggan performed a second surgery on December 11th where he took out the pins, scraped the scar tissue and forced my knee to bend under anesthesia. Thank goodness for 2nd opinions! After my 1st referral with a popular orthopedic surgeon for severe knee pain and meniscus tear was an absolute disappointment, I was referred to Dr. Duggan. From the moment he walked into the room, he was very friendly, acknowledged my husband and I, actually LISTENED to what I had to say, examined my knee, and went over the imaging in detail. Dr. Duggan is an EXTRAORDINARY ortho surgeon. Back in Nov 2022 I had a major rotator cuff surgery . Minor knee surgery on May 14, 2024 What had me choose Dr. Duggan was his ability to explain everything in detail . I felt SAFE. His authenticity , confidence and commitment was palpable.
