She has been my primary care physician for over 20 years and I love her. She always takes the time to listen to you and you are never felt rushed. Excellent family doctor that I highly recommend!!
Worst doctor ever. Always late. Every appt I had she was more than 20 mins late. She'd usually blame it on other patients which I could understand. However, the last visit I had I was her first patient at 830am. I arrived at 745. I walked out at 855am having still not seen her. Very unprofessional with no regard for anyone's time.
I like Dr. Kirby a lot. The staff has a lot to be desired at times...but I travel 10 miles passing at least 10 different doctors on the way to see Dr. Kirby. I have never had a problem with her diagnoses. She was always informative, honest, and good bad side manner.
I saw Dr. Kirby for 8 years. Shewas easy to talk to. Oddly, she never listened to my chest or back. Never looked in my ears of mouth. Don't think she ever touched me. The final straw to finding a new PCP was communicating with her nurse Laurie. Her judgement of me sent me to the emergency room!
I was in the hospital for a seizure the night before I went into her office complaining of a massive headache. Her staff told me they couldnt get me in the next week, for a seizure thats a life time without prescribed medicine. I was scared of having another seizure, her medical assistand Lorie said there was no information that said seizure on the hospital paper work when the description said ADULT SEIZURE. They sent me away. After arguing with her staff she signed a refuse service paper.
I love Dr. Kirby,she's great and I feel comfortable with her. The wait is always long, this is my only complaint and reason for looking for a new PCP. Always runs about 30 minutes behind.
