Doctors like this are part of the problem with our health system today. She will not take new patience with existing conditions. How are people supposed to be able to get quality healthcare with changing healthcare providers and doctors who refused to see patience.
She is a doctor who takes the time to listen to you and is concerned about using the precise words so that you understand the laboratory results and all the other information that she needs to tell you... In general, she is a very good doctor, she inspires confidence and I can see that she is trying hard to help me relieve my pain and cure my illness.
I've been a patient of Dr Kirby for about 8 years now and absolutely satisfied with her and all she has treated me for and walked through with me. Would highly recommend her.
Dr. Kirby is okay, but I was surprised by some language she used to describe my medical condition. (Could be hurtful to someone more sensitive.) But staff is the worst! I left a message for her medical assistant for something very basic, and a week later, still no response. I called back about it, spoke with the medical assistant about it, and she said she’d call me right back. That was 3 days ago. So going on two weeks now and no return call and no action. She needs to get rid of that medical assistant! Useless and tactless... read more
Plan to wait an hour. The first time I saw her was after Dr Sudha left and I was about to lose it by the time she got to me. Unfortunately, she didn’t seem to care at all that I was early for my appointment and she was an hour late seeing me! It wasn’t an anomaly…same experience the other two times I’ve seen her. She does listen and gives good advice on adjusting behaviors as well as provides medication to help with symptoms.
Dr Kirby is the best PCP I have ever had! She is very thorough and gives you the time you need! She has helped me through some difficult situations! I highly recommend her!
I was never able to get scheduled because her RUDE office staff told me they do not take my insurance. I know this is wrong because I work with 3 people that have my have insurance and they go to her ! I’m sure Dr. Kirby is great but her staff is HORRIBLE.
Have been going to her for years. Love her she is so sweet and just a great doctor. Likes to get to know you as a person and she truly cares.
