Dr. Sands is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and is very patient. She personally follows up to ensure that her patients are well informed and comfortable. Dr. Sands is not only a brilliant mind but she treats everyone with the upmost respect. She is truly one of a kind and a blessing to have as a physician!
No words can express what terrific surgeon/person she is I had a large polyp removed. 2 others said they had to remove part of my colon, wear a bag etc Dr Sands removed it without a hitch I was up and walking in a few hours no pain I actually questioned if anything was done. I just went back for my 4 month follow up today she got it all She is so compassionate, personable and walks you thru every step She was/is God sent. Fantastic!!! God orchestrated my meeting her. I had complications from a previous good surgery by another doctor. She fixed the three problems that weirdly popped up. She also really cares and explains everything very logically. I would recommend her again and again.

Dr. Sands operated on me almost 2 1/2 years ago. Fate brought us together. I learned of Dr. Sands from someone else, made an appointment (an hour away) and once we had our consult, I knew. At her suggestion, I scheduled surgery (scared as I was) ASAP, and I wanted her to do it. Unbeknownst to either of us, it turned into an 8 hour surgery!
