I will never go back to this practice since they allow her to work there. After two years of misdiagnosis on her end, she told me to get more therapy (insulting and I needed proper medication). I’ve had chronic illness for 23 years and would discourage anyone from seeing her. And I verbally told her how incredibly insulting she was and left clearly upset. She didn’t even care or even attempt a follow up call. find yourself a doctor who is on your side.
My encounter with Dr. Jacobs in May 2023 for severe joint pain turned into a nightmare of misdiagnosis and neglect. Initially, she dismissed my concerns, attributing the symptoms to a simple infection that would clear up in a month. Despite my ongoing agony and repeated pleas for help, my subsequent appointments with her were disappointingly brief, lasting only 10-15 minutes, with rushed interactions and minimal questioning. Worst out there! Rheumatologist, I don’t know how qualified, outside of ordering labs. Just beat breast cancer, went for regular follow up visit, and when I explained symptoms I was having relating to my moderate to severe RA along with other morbities, she proceeds to say they were related to childhood mishaps. I believe the chemicals they give you to fight cancer had some bearing on how I was feeling and not my childhood especially since I am old. Please take this seriously, if you are sick run for this one!
