My encounter with Dr. Jacobs in May 2023 for severe joint pain turned into a nightmare of misdiagnosis and neglect. Initially, she dismissed my concerns, attributing the symptoms to a simple infection that would clear up in a month. Despite my ongoing agony and repeated pleas for help, my subsequent appointments with her were disappointingly brief, lasting only 10-15 minutes, with rushed interactions and minimal questioning. Worst out there! Rheumatologist, I don’t know how qualified, outside of ordering labs. Just beat breast cancer, went for regular follow up visit, and when I explained symptoms I was having relating to my moderate to severe RA along with other morbities, she proceeds to say they were related to childhood mishaps. I believe the chemicals they give you to fight cancer had some bearing on how I was feeling and not my childhood especially since I am old. Please take this seriously, if you are sick run for this one!

Dr. Jacobs is the worst doctor I've ever had to deal with. She ignores your calls, she has a smirk on her face as you're telling her what bothers you as if she doesn't believe you and clearly you can see my hands are swollen. I am currently looking for a new Rheumatologist because I will not have her playing with my health.
My disease has progressed since I’ve been going to her. My pcp order a CT of my chest, abdomen and pelvis. I dropped off the results to make sure she got the results. When she finally called me two weeks later she didn’t have the report. She was more upset that I had the scans without her knowledge than the results and the results showed that my condition got worse. She’s the most rude doctor I had any had the displeasure of going to. After this event I knew I had to move on.
