Dr. Hood is one of the BEST!!Pediatricians in the Rockdale,Newton,&Walton area. Extremely knowledgeable and promotes holistic medicine as an option,instead of pharmaceutical meds for children. That's just one of the many things we LOVE about her. !!!
Dr. Hood is an excellent doctor and my children have been going to her for about 5 years now. Everything was great until she hired an entire new staff and they are by far the worst I have ever come in contact with. The atmosphere has completely changed since she brought in this new crew. My past 3 visits I sat in that small waiting room for over 2 hours. You have to take a full day off work because you never know how long your going to be in her office. The wait is to long for ltitle ones.
Dr. Hood was great with my son and she has really nice bedside manners. I hated to leave her practice but her office staff is terrible. I had to eventually seek out another physician because I could not make an appointment! The staff kept putting me on hold and leaving me on hold until I eventually hung up, this went on for 3 days. Dr. Hood, hire new frontline staff, your loosing business!
Since Dr.C.Hood moved to Wellness Ctr.her own practice on West Ave.in Conyers my daughter has been a patient. It takes years for someone to mess up a Doctors practice, not the Doctor messing it up herself. The past year new people have been hired and I've had a stupid isdue over a physical form vs.Doctor notes being sent to a school. Who does that? Hello? Otherwise, the service is exceptional from Dr.C.Hood and Associates. Thank you for your services.
Let me start by saying Dr. Hood is a great doctor. The problem is her office staff! They are terrible. When you call for an appointment, you wait on hold forever. When you finally get ahold of them, they are very rude. Appointments are booked days out. If they have you come in for a walk in, you will be there minimum of 4+ hours. The doctor is great, sadly her office staff runs you off. We are looking for another doctor.
