Dr. Boulris did a great job on my shoulder surgery! He met with me beforehand and explained the procedure as well as what to expect after the surgery. He met with my family while I was in recovery to inform them about my surgery and explain the next steps. I would highly recommend this surgeon!
Dr. Boulris needs a lesson in bedside manner. I believe he is a very good surgeon, but lacks sincerity and patience when interacting with patient during pre-op and post-op appts. He doesn't offer information, you have to ask a question to get an answer or information. Kaiser promotes that their physicians are more than doctors, they're caring, helpful, a friend, an advocate, etc. Boulris is a good surgeon without all the bells and whistles.
Totally unacceptable. I expect an organization like Kaiser to have great physicians and a great standard of care. However, after my visit, I felt that neither this doctor nor Kaiser care at all about me. The guy didn't even look me in the eye and seemed content to move on to the next patient (I felt like I was in a factory) and I would expect better. This is the last time I seek this doctor and this organization.
