I have been a patient of Dr. Ashford's, on and off, for nearly 30 years. We lived out of state for a few years and I was unable to see him as my ob/gyn. He is fantastic. He takes the time to ask and answer any questions that may arise. His staff is kind and welcoming. I still see him for my annual exam and he changed my life with an endometrial ablation. I cannot recommend him enough. I am more than glad to drive the hour plus from my town to see him.
Dr. Ashford was my gynecologist/ obstetrician for 20 plus years and with no notice suddenly changed to only doing uterine ablations. Called for an appt. and they basically told be to get lost. No warnings , letters, emails and no recommendations for another dr. This treatment has totally made me lose all respect for him and his practice!
I have been coming to the Ashford Clinic since I relocated to the area 8 years ago. Even though I visit once a year for my check up, everyone on staff is friendly, kind and thorough. I have never had a doctor willing to spend the amount of time to discuss any problems and answer questions as I have experienced with Dr. Rebecca Ashford. Dr. Ashford kindly suggests life style alterations and helps manage my expectations on changes I can expect as I age. Can't recommend them enough!
I can not begin to describe how glad I am that I went to Dr. Ashford. Dr. Ashford and his team are exceptional! I would recommend Dr. Ashford's office to any and everyone! Everyone you meet, from the moment you walk in the door, are so kind and welcoming. I never once felt like a number or a chart on the wall. I can not write enough wonderful comments to express my satisfaction with The Ashford Center.
Dr. Ashford is incredible. He and his staff are so wonderful and make you at ease as soon as you walk in the door. His nurse, Elizabeth is also terrific. Dr. Ashford did my Nova Sure about 5 years ago and my only complaint is that I did not get it done sooner. I continue to go to Dr. Ashford and tell anyone that will listen about the Nova Sure procedure and how great his practice is. He is the BEST gynecologist in Athen!!!
I would not recommend Dr. Ashford. Its my impression that he and his practice are focused on profits. He pushes unnecessary procedures.
