Dr Chu was rude, unprofessional and refused to answer questions about an issue related to my visit.
Dr. Chu eased my nerves about cataract surgery, explaining it in simple terms so that I knew what to expect. She took special care in evaluating my activities and then customized the treatment accordingly. Her communication proved vital throughout the process. I felt that she genuinely cared about me as a patient. As for her surgical skills, I'll just say the vivid colors and clear sight I now enjoy dramatically exceeded my expectations.
Dr. Claire Chu is very thorough detail & compassionate and, you never feel rushed, and very respected by her peers, wright after I got home when I took off the patch it was like miracle. Dr. Claire Chu deserve a five rating.
Extremely intelligent and highly qualified. More importantly, Dr. Chu is a genuinely good person.
Not really sure why they call it a vision center. They do not offer glasses or frames, nor do they perform surgery close by.
She is absolutely awesome. I have a major issue going on with my eyes and she managed it all very well, ordering blood work, an MRI, and getting in to see a retinal specialist. She wrote a referral to get me in to see a neurologist and all that in 2 weeks! She is very thorough, and tenacious . I highly recommend her!
Dr. Chu has done cataract surgery on both of my eyes over a six year period. I recommend her highly! Her confident and caring manner made me very comfortable. I can't say enough good things about her. And my eyes are great! The staff at Newman Taub were very helpful and I felt that they really care about their patients. Very good experience.
I visited Dr. Chu's office 3 times this year for Irritating eyes. Dr. Chu was soft speaking but could feel her arrogance. Dr. Chu was hardly looking at me in the exam. room. She was talking to her technician. I had different tests each time. when I needed assistance the tech was not in the room. They were not rude but lack of kindness and patience. I told the tech I needed a prescription for a new pair of glasses. I called twice and didn't get it. Today they said they did not charge me.
Dr. Chu is very patient-oriented, listens to questions and provides understandable answers. Very calming, even though I was not uptight about my visits for cataract surgery.
