I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Chu regarding my cataract surgery evaluation. After two visits, extensive testing, and nearly $500 out-of-pocket, I was given a firm surgery date, instructions, and prescriptions. Dr Chu referred me to Dr. Adam at another facility for a second opinion; he cleared me for surgery. The best experience ever !!l A month ago i had serious doubts about the future of my vision . And by Thanksgiving i am able to see without contacts or glasses . Thanks Dr Chu !
Went to doctor for painful eye condition. She diagnosed dry eye condition and referred me to an optometrist after waiting two hours to see her. I feel like she could have treated me at least with some eye drops for some relief being a doctor. I could have gone to an optometrist. There is one on every corner. I feel like she just wanted to get rid of me. So she did. I will find a new Opthamologist to have my cataracts removed.
Not likely to return to her. MD and staff hard to communicate with.
I felt confident that I was in good hands the moment I met her. She performed cataract surgery on both my eyes and restored my distance vision to 20/20. I highly recommend her and her staff.
Dr Chu is an excellent Ophthalmologist and so caring about her patients. She operated on my husband's cataracts and takes care of my eyes as well. Her office in Dallas has wonderful people assisting her. I highly recommend Dr Chu to all of my friends.
Dr Chu recently restored my vision to near perfect with her impeccable skills as an eye surgeon. She performed cataract surgery on both my eyes and her ability to advise a course of action pre op and make assessments post op are very valuable.
Refused to discuss findings from tests performed during visit. Stated would discuss after a next pre op visit in another office. Then had her office try to schedule surgery prior to my receiving any information about my eyes or lenses. Seemed like a marketing ploy to hook you into committing to surgery. I has to obtain my medical record from her to review findings.
