Dr. Shaham is an attentive and wonderful pediatrician. My family is currently stationed overseas, but whenever we are in LA we drive 1+ hours just so my daughters can be seen by her. My daughters have seen Dr. Shaham for well visits, which included the crucial newborn period (had 2nd daughter in LA) when we have to be on high alert for issues such as weight gain and jaundice. We never had to wait too long for our appointment (if we even have to wait at all), and we are never rushed during it.
Dr. Shaham has a wonderful manner with children and parents. She makes time to answer your questions and shares her depth of knowledge on mind as well as body topics. She directly spoke to our two year old about giving up the bottle and she did, right after that visit by agreeing to donate them to the babies at daycare! Our daughter looks forward to her visits with Dr. Shaham and listens to her advice!
Dr. Shaham is not only a fantastic doctor, she is just a nice person. She would sing Doc McStuffins songs to my kids to put them at ease. She has a young son herself, so she is living what she is practicing. I've never felt rushed in her office, and she always emails and calls back in a timely fashion. She is attentive, but not an alarmist.
Dr Shaham is extremely smart and genuinely cares about her patients. She puts kids at ease during visits. She has a calm and focused bedside manner when speaking to parents. I am always able to get an appointment and she will always return calls within the hour. Physicians like Dr Shaham are amazing and I highly recommend her.
She spent a lot of time with my son and myself and addressed all of our questions and concerns.
She has no bedside manner. Would go as far as saying that she is harmful to keeping your kid willing to go to the doctor.
