I am from Canada where waittime to be seen by a dermatologist rangers from 3 to 12 months. Waiting that long would have been detrimental for my mental health given the preliminary diagnostic so I turned to internet looking to book an appointment in Waltham, MA, the place I used to live attending a university there. I got the appointment scheduled within the 10 days, it took me just 5 hours by car to get from Montreal to the clinic, the clinic is very accessible and equipped with modern technology; staff is professional and c... read more

Dr. Mailhot is the best dermatologist I have ever seen. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. His bedside manner is simply the best! He really takes his time and listens to his patients and truly cares. I would highly recommend him (and do) to anyone!

Dr. Muz reminds me of “The Good Doctor”. He’s a sharp man, astute, and quick to find things. I’ve gone to him for years because I’m confident of his abilities. However, he’s no BFF. Unlike my PCP, Muz never remembers me. He rules out the same non-issues, examines me like someone off the street (even though on at least 1 occasion he took pictures as a baseline for future visits), and asks about annual appointments. I, too, would appreciate giving consent to a female assistant in the room, but it’s not a showstopper. My last v... read more

A few years ago, I asked Dr. Goos to remove a few skin tags. He may have been having a bad day. Who knows? He raised his voice and scoffed at me, and said in an exasperated tone, " Sure you have skin tags! You will have plenty more in years to come! " He came across as hostile and unfriendly.

I waited for Dr.Peter Muz in the room for >20 mins. He eventually made a quick conclusion in a few seconds without even a careful look. He certainly lacks professionalism. He asked me to take off my shirt in front of a female scriber without asking for my consent and that made me very uncomfortable (other reviews have reported similar uncomfortable experiences with him. Wish I had read them first). He is very condescending and disrespectful. He tried to make decisions for patients even when he was not welcome/in a right posi... read more

I worked for Dr. Goos as one of his Clinical Team Leaders, out of his Westford Practice in/around 2011. His presence always brought forth a great deal of pride, idealism, intellectual brilliance and a tad bit of fear in me as he never had to speak much to exude Aires of “bring your very best everyday or stay home!” Although being the ring leader of a practice which emphasizes beauty, he didn’t care for vanity! I certainly brought my very best, serving not only Westford but lending my laser focused attention to Concord, Marlb... read more

Dr. Muz came to a quick conclusion regarding what my symptoms. Multiple times I tried to provide him with more context of what was going on (he did not ask me for information he just looked at my hand for about 5 seconds) and he did not address what I had said. I asked him what to look for that would indicate his diagnosis is off, and he told me "not to worry" and then did not answer my question. I did not enjoy my experience here.

I have been visiting Dr. Muz for skin conditions for many years. One session that I will share is that I was in his office and he was examining my face. He then noticed a small area in the corner of my right eyelid. “What’s that ? We need to get you in to have that removed right away.” I knew nothing, didn’t notice a thing. He then left the room and placed a phone call to Dr Solky. He came back in the room and said Dr. Solky will see you Wednesday. (2days) I went to Dr. Solky’s office, he took one look and asked who found th... read more

Dr. Muz walked in the room, quickly glanced and me and then said “is there anything wrong with you…. Medically I lead.” He then asked if he could look at my back and before I could say yes he had lifted up my shirt to exam by back and chest area- making me very uncomfortable. He then glanced at my face before saying “your face is close to normal and for some people close to normal is the best they can get.” This horrendous interaction aside and I came because I have painful dots on my eyes and the advice he gave me was “don’... read more
