Dr.Howe is the epitome of professionalism. He radiates a quiet confidence, and his bedside manner is top notch. He helped me deal with the emotional fears about my surgery. He never pushed me, and gave me as many options as he could. He also gave attention to my husband on surgery day, helping my husband deal with his fear and concern.
Dr Howe is one doctor that I highly recommend. He performed a laminectomy on me and got rid of all the pain in my hips and legs. He was honest and not exaggerated in what I might expect after the surgery. I actually recovered much better than he indicated I might. He always had time to sit down, explain my surgery and answer all my questions. After my surgery, he was there to advise how things went. All in all, he was a Godsend to me!
Feb 2016 I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. met with Dr Howe tried shots, acupuncture and finally physical therapy. Scheduled surgery in December and because of pre-surgery therapy I had amazing core strength but couldn’t walk more than 100 feet or stand 3-4 minutes at a time. The surgery, laminectomy, fusion and disc replacement was extremely successful, outstanding support and care in post op, back to work part time in 3 weeks, full time in 5 and 10 months later I have no pre-surgery pain
I had my back surgery 5 years ago I was in so much pain I could hardly walk. Dr. Howe did a surgery where he but rods and bolts in my back it took about a year to recover. I can now do everything I did before except skiing. Thank you Dr. Howe you gave me my life back. You were real prompt on appointments, you also would check my grandsons Dylan's back just to make him feel you cared about his back. I have recommended you to my friends with back problems.
