He listed to me. I said that I was still hurting after a previous arthroscopic procedure and he understood my point of I have a lot of things to do.
Very knowledgeable and courteous. Responsive referral time and follow up.
Staff is friendly, and any x-rays or scans are done in a timely manner. Expect to wait past your appointment time as Dr. Jones seems to run behind. That said, he will take time to answer your concerns, which may contribute to each appointment getting further delayed. I would recommend his experience if you need surgery.
Dr Jones is the BEST
Dr Jones is an excellent Orthopedic surgeon he did my shoulder and it is doing good and that was 15 years ago I would recommend him to anyone if I ever decide to do my knees he will be the one.
My appointment was with Dr Jones. His PA took care of me without any explanation about why I was seeing him instead. His PA was very good, but since I drove 45 minutes for this appointment I wanted to see Dr Jones. I called and left a message with his scheduler and received a voice message from some other staff member. She basically said that Dr Jones was running way behind and that was why the PA took care of me and that I should have spoken up during the visit. So she was putting the blame on me. Dr Jones is the best! I really need a shoulder replacement but I opted for shot. He didn't try to push me and agreed I should try to put it off as long as possible. He listens, explains and cares about his patients.
With his back toward me, he looked mostly at computer. Did not explain anything about my broken shoulder only said to immobilize it. He seemed rushed and uninterested. He wrote no notes that could be found on practice visit notes nor wrote any Rx for how broken shoulder was to be supported. I also broke wrist on my fall and a PA had to suggest and write Rx for immobilizer and tech had to tell me about Tx for shoulder.
Dr. Jones (and his assistant Tiffany) have been wonderful to work with, through my shoulder surgery in 2022! Dr. Jones is very professional and caring, always thoughtful and thorough in both the surgery and follow-up exams. He went out of his way to find me a good physical therapist in my town. Surgery went well, and I am recovering well. I highly recommend Dr. Christopher Jones, his staff, and their facility in Colorado Springs!
