I came to Dr. Annunziata with a torn pec from bench pressing. He was able to correctly pinpoint the area of injury and successfully reattach it. Less than 8 months later, I’m benching heavy weights again. When I assess physicians, I look for not only competence, but a systemic approach of practicing medicine. Dr. A Is in a class of his own. He is brilliant and patient. He explains his thought process as he is conducting his examination. He is patient and you never feel rushed with him. His diagnosis is clear and he is exceptional when it comes to resolving your injuries. None better!

I went for a consult. We reassessed the situation and determined a orthoscopic surgery was not necessary. Needless to say the consult saved time money and perhaps needless pain and suffering. The candid, open, honest and frank discussion was outstanding and indicative of his high ethical standards.

First time visit with Dr. Annunziata and left very impressed. Got a full explanation of what was going on and treatment recommendations (and a good look at the x-rays). I would recommend consulting with this doctor to anyone having issues with their shoulder. Kudos to the rest of the staff for providing equally cheerful, efficient help and keeping wait time to a minimum.

Dr. A. is a fine surgeon and is very easy to talk to. He performed arthroscopic shoulder surgery for me two years ago, and my shoulder is still better than it ever was! When I recently needed another ortho consult for something else, I immediately called Dr. A. The systemic practice at Ortho VA is polished, professional and efficient and their practitioners all 1st class.

After six knee surgeries, I can say that I have seen many surgeons. Dr. Annunziata spent more time with me on my first visit than anyone else. He took the time to explain options and the path forward. He is awesome!
