Dr Christian Vissers is outstanding! He did my total knee replacement 4 months ago and I am brand new. I stand and walk alot and have lots of adults and children sit on my knee.....wink...wink.... Can't say enough great things about the Gainesville Hospital. Great experience and 5 Star care!!
The ABSOLUTE WORST experience I've ever had. I broke my arm slipping on ice. Was referred to him from the ER. The first few visits were ok. So I thought. Decided on surgery. I don't have insurance, so paid the hospital 25k cash. TWO MONTHS LATER- NO CALL, NO RESPONSE, NOTHING?? I called weekly to his office and it was the same answer every time. He was nowhere around and NO ONE in that office could give me an explanation or the next step. The hospital called my husband asking why they had 25k and there was no surgery planned... read more
Dr. Vissers was very informative and considerate of my health situation.
Dr. Vissers is very thorough, patient, engaging and LISTENS…what a concept. I felt very confident that he was giving me the best attention and care possible. Gainesville is very lucky to have him here.
I have inflammation in my knees and elbow and Dr Vissers gives me shots in the areas that give me comfort for 4-6 months. Staff and front office are nice and efficient. Definitely recommend.

The wait time is ridiculously long even though you had a appointment. Be prepared to wait in the lobby for at least 30-45 minutes and wait in the room for another 30 minutes to an hour. The nurse is rude and obnoxious. The doctors head is somewhere in outerspace and he lacks any professional skills. The women at the front desk are no better because they can't seem to pick up the phone to return calls when you've been waiting week after week. So you call again, they say so and so will call you, and again...no call.
