I have been seeing Dr. Cohler for over 5 years as my primary care provider. She has been a great physician for me across a number of medical issues/needs over the past years, and I have great respect/appreciation for her skill, knowledge, bedside manner, and integrity.
Dr. Cohler shares information about patients with other patients. I will not return for lack of privacy.
Dr Cohler is THE BEST, she listens, is friendly, got a great sense of humor and is very attentive. I have been going to her for many years 15-18 and recently my wife started to be her patient. Can not say too many good things.
Dr. Cohler is a caring, friendly, and skilled physician. She takes great care in the well-being of her patients and actually listens to you to gather information for a clear plan of care. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a family practitioner.
Fabulous family doctor! My whole family see Dr Cohler and she is great with the kids and adults. She spends time, listens, follows up, has a lovely personable approach, a great holistic philosophy on care and is kind. I highly recommend her to all my friends
She is very rushed and impersonal. I told her about my dream to go to medical school and she discouraged me and told me to be a dentist, a PA, or orthodontist and that orthodontists make a lot of money. She told me she would not go to medical school if she were to do it again. In my opinion, if you have chosen to become a doctor, you should care sincerely about your patients. Hearing these words were not only personal discouraging, but made me disappointed in her as a provider.
She canceled on my follow up appointment. I had to call her office twice to get my ultra sound records since I had left California to start graduate school. When Susan called me back, she told me to follow up with another specialist based upon my records two months after my initial appointment. She should have notified me much earlier especially since she canceled on my follow up appointment and I left California. I found this kind of treatment unprofessional and will not visit again.
Dr Cohler has always been very caring and understanding with my healthcare. She listens takes the time to understand you and is very supportive in so many ways. I highly recommend Dr Cohler.
Cher Cohler is a great, personable physician and human being. She listens, has a holistic perspective, doesn't talk down to you, and has provided insightful care for me and my family through a range of health issues over several years. She's the best doctor we've had in the Thousand Oaks area, and we've seen several. She also has a wonderful nurse in Susan, who helps to make her care accessible and responsive when you need it most.
