Hands down the best doctor you'll ever see! I came to Dr. K after two of my girlfriends raved about her and I could see why even after 1 visit. She's friendly and knowledgable like my previous doctors, but she really listens, takes the time, and follows up. My insurance doesn't consider her my primary care doc, but I do! She's done my PAP, all my regular labs and even found a thyroid issue when no one else wanted to even do the testing. I've been going to Dr. Kannankeril since Aug (it's Dec now), and she is one of the BEST doctors I have ever encountered. She listens, and usually has several options. Each visit if thorough and never rushed like 9 out of 10 docs you will see. Within the first month I started feeling better. I'm still seeing her, and plan to make her my primary Physician for 2012 and beyond!
Dr. Kannankeril is an excellent doctor . She's helped me with my digestive issues so much more than any of my previous gastroenterologists. It's an added bonus that she is very caring and listens to what I am going through - it makes me enjoy going to the doctor!
Dr. Kannankeril is wonderful. I recommend her to all my friends. When I first came to her, I was having all sorts of problems. I had been to quite a few traditional medical doctors and they were all stumped as to the cause of my problems. Dr K spends a whole hour with you, every visit! The office staff is so pleasant I almost don't feel like I am at a doctor's office. Dr. Kannankeril is wonderful. Always willing to take time to answer questions and very knowledgeable in a number of areas.
Just had my appt with Dr. K yesterday as part of my New Year's resolution to get healthy. The visit was terrific. I expected her to do most of the talking, but in the beginning she wanted to hear my goals and my reason for coming in. We went through the typical medical questions, etc of course but it was nice to have a doctor care about what I was looking for and not just list my symptoms and hand me a prescription. I certainly have my work cut out for me, but I'm looking forward to my next visit.
I found Dr. Kannankeril on the Integrative Pediatrics website and was pleasantly surprised that my son with ADHD actually enjoyed his visits too! Dr. K ran some neurotransmitter testing on him and explained everything to myself, my husband and my son so we understood everything. My son was happy that the doctor was talking to him rather than about him. He's excited to take his medicine because he's feeling better and his teachers have told me the improvements they've seen. Went to see Dr. Kannankeril at suggestion of one of my girlfriends and I've been very happy with her care and attention. She ran tests that my other doctors never thought of to figure out why I was having hormonal issues. I went to my gyn doc first with the same story and she just gave me a prescription for birth control without any explanation. It's refreshing to have a doctor who takes an interest in explaining things to you.
Dr. Kannankeril has been wonderful for me and my family. She's helping to regulate my hormones and I finally got off Prempro when no other doctor would help. I've taken my daughter and son to her too for nutritional counseling and my family seems to be doing better than ever. Whenever I have a question, Dr. K will always respond with a personal phone call.
