The dr was very thorough and the visit went well
Dr. Achilles recommended that I have a steroid injection in my lower back to alleviate pain. I was quite afraid, as I have a phobia to needles. He listened to my concerns, gave me light anesthesia to help me calm, and finished the injection very quickly. Best news? It worked! I highly recommend him -- he is skilled, knowledgeable, and caring.
Dr. Achilles had obviously read all of my referring surgeon's notes detailing the terribly-painful steroid injections I endured several years ago in Los Angeles before meeting with me. He was patient, kind, and thorough in assuring me of his care and competence with his patients. When I returned for the injection three weeks later, he again assured me that he would take care of me and that I would endure no pain. He was right, and I am grateful.
