I have been a patient at Dr. Violi's office for many years. The office is outstanding and the providers are very knowledgeable with great bed side manners and extremely warm. I highly recommend this practice!!!!!!
I don't know what was in the water in that office today. Provider was very nice. Was confused about a question. When the front desk clerk tried to handle the issue the shear level of condescension and lack of manners was staggering. The young lady was literally nasty. I have been a longstanding patient. Not anymore. Not anymore. I am sure that there is someone in Stamford that can do your papsmear.
We love Dr. Violi! She's sweet and caring! And her voice is so soothing and relaxing - calmed me during my emergency c-section!
Positives: Dr. Violi has a kind and gentle approach with patients. Her nurse is super nice and always very attentive. Dr. Violi is often not in the office, so experience with other physicians or physician's assistant hasn't been great. The PA just seems to recommend surgery whenever she can, so doesn't always give you a lot of confidence that they are out for your best interest. Front nurses usually stressed and not always happy to help.
I have gone to Dr Violi and her practice for seven years, a time period which has included routine women's health, a battery of tests and infertility treatments, one natural full-term pregnancy, one IVF full-term pregnancy, one total surprise pregnancy that we sadly miscarried, the occasional breast check, and periodic "what in the world is going on with my body NOW" visits to calm my very vivid medical imagination. I have felt the thoughtful care that the practice is known for at every turn.
I checked out 10 drs before going with Dr Violi, and I'm so glad I did. My gut was spot-on! She has the warmest bedside manner and you never feel rushed during her appointments. I will never forget the calm and reassuring way she handled my emergency c-section. Another bonus? Her all-female staff is the greatest!!! and they know you by name when you walk in :) - Tara
I cannot say enough positive remarks about Dr. Violi. It's been 10 years since I first starting seeing Dr. Violi and I've delivered 4 of my 5 pregnancies at her practice. Her gentle-nature, experience and knowledge and her unwavering loyalty to her patient's best interests is what makes me incredibly grateful to have her as my OB/GYN. I highly recommend her. The staff is wonderful and caring. They are always so pleasant and accommodating.
I had a great experience with Dr. Violi during my pregnancy and birth of my second child. From the moment I started seeing her (just prior to getting pregnant), I felt very comfortable with her and that I was in very capable hands. Towards the end of my pregnancy, my baby was breech and a C section was necessary. Dr. Violi listened to my concerns and was always supportive right up to the time in the OR. Now, 4 weeks postpartum I am healing very well and baby is healthy.
Dr. Violi is an outstanding doctor who really cares and appreciates all of her patients. I have been going to Dr. Violi for over 15 years and I have never met a doctor like her. Not only is Dr. Violi an excellent doctor but her staff and office make you feel like you are right at home and are very attentive to all of their patients' needs. I would recommend Dr. Violi to anyone who wishes to have a doctor who has their best interests at mind always and cares so much for their well being!
