Dr. Violi is great and I have complete trust in her years of experience. The staff are very friendly. Wait times had been long in the past, but as of late are not an issue.
Dr. Violi is one of the most dedicated doctors I've ever met. She was highly recommended to me by a neighbor when I first moved to Greenwich, and I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and care of her office staff. A mother herself, Dr. Violi has an incredibly nurturing bedside manner. I was so fortunate that she recently delivered my baby, especially when I later found out it was her day off, and she didn't even hesitate to remove painful cysts that had grown from a previous labor.
I was recently seen in the office regarding a lump on my breast. After a sleepless night i called the office and the staff was compassionate and understanding and quickly added me on to their already busy schedule. I believe that in this day an age doctors that truly care will go the extra mile for their patients. I have had experiences with other offices where in this situation would have made me wait another day.I highly recommend Dr. Violi and staff.
Dr Caterina Violi is a kind, gentle,caring, experienced OBGYN. She delivered my last two children! She now takes care of my elderly mom and my two teenage daughters and they feel she is the best too! Her calm demeanor and bedside manner is priceless. She is very knowledgeable and I know that I am in the best hands. A super-friendly staff and amazing P.A., Lisa - an added plus! I can't say enough good things about her or her practice. I would definitely recommend her to women of all ages.
I was recommended to Dr. Violi by a company nurse, so I had high expectations. I ended up being very disappointed. The doctor (not Violi) was very impatient, terse, and rudely listened to my questions. She did not even have time to tell me the potential negative side effects of the drug. Overall, I would not recommend this office. I waited an hour to be seen for only 5 minutes.
While I think the world of Dr. Violi and the staff, I have a hard time recommending her practice. Her practice seems to be a revolving door for other doctors. In the years that I've been affiliated with them I've seen so many other doctors come and go I can't keep track. While it wasn't an issue at first, it's become an issue now that I am pregnant with baby #2. I get pawned on her sister for visits. I equate this to asking for a senior partner at a law firm and getting the paralegal instead.
She was thoughtful and thorough and caring--I recommend her without reservation.
This is perhaps the worst doctors' office I've ever been to. Dr. Violi is usually to busy to see me so I get pawned of to a colleague with less experience and no bedside manner. I've been told there is nothing wrong with me even though it is clear -- after follow-up with other doctors -- there IS something wrong. On top of that, the lab workers in the office are rude.
De Violi, Lisa and Dr Palos are amazing. I highly recommend this practice. I have been with them for about 20 years. They are very kind, caring, knowledgeable. They are the best
