I just had my first baby with dr violi and she is nothing short of amazing, as is her whole staff. She’s seen it all and her knowledge and skill we’re so appreciated every step of the way. I ended up having a c section which was smooth and easy, all things considered, and my scar is barely the size of a pencil line across my lower abdomen. I’m so grateful to her and her team!
Dr Violi delivered both of my babies by c-section. She is just amazing, she is caring, loving and an amazing physician. She was by my side all the way through and reassuring me. Not to mention my scar looks amazing, both time the recovery was amazing quick thanks to her skilled hands. I am just so grateful I have her as my OBGYN. She a real pro and I can not recommend her enough. Also her staff are amazingly lovely and personable. 5 stars are not enough for her and her practice!
Dr. Violi listened to all of my concerns while pregnant and answered everything thoroughly. My delivery could not have been more perfect and to top it off her staff is amazing!
At my 40 week appointment, Dr. Violi swept my membranes without my consent or without informing me she would do so. She did it very roughly, under the pretext of checking my dilation (I was 0 inches dilated with zero effacement). I only found out that my membranes had been swept after describing the pain and the procedure to my friend who is a maternity nurse at NY Presbyterian. I meant to write down this review after my daughter was born but I didn’t know the little amount of time that you have left in the day as a working parent. Dr. Violi was my rock when I was pregnant with my now two and a half year old daughter. I was short of my 41st birthday when I found out I was pregnant. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Violi is. She feels like part of our family. After my husband and I tried for 3+ years for our second child and spent a fortune at a fertility center, we went to Dr. Violi. She identified the issue the first month working with her; one cycle of IUI we were pregnant. I had several complications with my pregnancy, resulting in multiple hospitalizations. She delivered my second baby. There were complications but she pulled me and baby through and we are both alive and well. However I feel she disregarded my concerns about my induction and delivery and seemed almost mad that I chose Perinatology at the hospital vs the PERI MD that goes to her office. She seems to care more about money and speed/volume than patient care. I do not feel that she is thorough in her yearly visits either. I wish I had transferred care mid pregnancy as I thought many time.
I will forever be grateful to Dr. Violi, Lisa and the whole team of incredible women! As a first time mama, with not the easiest pregnancy, they were there for my growing family and I every step of the way. They were always very communicative. The office is clean. The team is kind and patient.
