She may be a bright doctor, but her personal skills are very off-setting. She hardly looked at me while I described my problem and seemed robotically in her analysis.
Dr. Folse is known to be one of the best. I chose her for my procedure and I am glad that I did. She and the staff at the GI Lab at St. Vincent's (Ascension Birmingham) was excellent. They were fast, caring and kind. Dr. Folse get's five stars in my book.
Dr. Folse, Thank you very much for being such a professional, thorough and efficient doctor. I appreciate your thoughtfulness, kindness and most of all your patience with me. Your expertise as a gastroenterologist is impeccable!! Cynthia J. O'Neal
She was rude and treated me like a complete idiot. Did not listen…ordered a celiac test DESPITE me already testing positive twice for Celiac from a previous doctor. Very knowledgeable and explains very well medical problem and treatment. She has been more than kind to me and my family post surgery. Phone calls are quickly answered. Would not use anyone else. So glad to have gotten her when in hospital.
Explained procedure well and very professional
Rude to patient. Always rushed, never wanted to spend the time necessary to listen to patient's questions. Dismissive of questions by patient and patient's spouse. Terrible follow through on calling back with results of tests. If there was a way to give less than 1 star I would.

She was very professional and caring at the same time. She listened to me and didn't dismiss my fiancé when he spoke. She treated us like humans and not $$$ She was very thorough in explaining my procedures (colonoscopy/endoscopy) and personally checked on me several times post-op. I highly recommend her. She pays attention to details!!! Rare these days!!! From my experience her professionalism and level of genuine patient care are the best you can receive. The staff was very friendly as well.
