My PCP referred me to Dr Langford to treat my cystocele. She answered my questions, was very knowledgeable, explained this condition and it's causes and provided me with options for treatment. I chose to have her surgically repair my prolapsed bladder. This was definitely the right decision for me, and she was the right Dr to do the repair. Her entire staff is welcoming and positive and I would not hesitate to recommend her to others.
Wow! After being treated so badly and humiliated by another Urologist in the area years ago I swore I would never go back to one. After reading so many good things about her I decided to try one more time and I am so glad I did. I am so impressed with Dr. Langford. She throughly listens to you, no rushing, takes her time after the exam to thoroughly explain everything to you. She’s kind and concerned about helping . I am so happy that I found her!
I was referred to Dr. Langford by a friend many years back in regards to an issue that had rendered me pretty much debilitated. I had seen a few doctors prior, including my gynecologist , who had all been unsuccessful treating me. Not only did Dr. Langford accomplish solving my specific issue, she was a wealth of knowledge in other areas of concern also! Dr. Lanford is extremely thorough, down to earth, and sensitive to her patients' pain tolerance levels. I couldn't ask for better treatment for follow up from successful bladder cancer surgery.
The ACell she inserted failed within months. My new UroGynocologist said he does not use that product because of the high failure rate. I am still under the care of my Neurologist, UroGynocologist and a Woman’s Pelvic Floor DPT since my surgery 2 years ago. She wrote (after my surgery) in my records she does not treat for pain. I was seen in ER 7 times, admitted to a different hospital with excruciating abdominal pain and bladder infection and aspirated 3 times within 26 days of the surgery she preformed on me.
I have already recommended Dr Langford and of course her office too! I'm 73 and for 25+ years I worked as a Radiographer, mostly in trauma, putting me in close working contact with physicians. Lots of physicians. I witnessed how some had the ability to hold a patients hand to comfort and others...no way. You can't teach empathy, respect and support. Dr. Carolyn Langford takes time to understand the nature of the problem and is familiar with the latest technology. I became a patient of hers after moving to Fort Myers from Pennsylvania several years ago. She was extremely thorough and got to the bottom of the problem quickly. Her staff is very courteous and professional and the office is clean and inviting. I highly recommend Dr. Langford!
