My stage 3 ovarian cancer was missed because Dr. Carol Swindle dismissed my pain. She told me it was my age (52) and a UTI. I trusted her. I had been her patient for 31 years. Extremely rude to hospital stuff and patients. There’s no reason to treat others the way she does. I guarantee there’s better options out there for a physician.
I was referred to Dr Swindle by my doctor and I can’t thank both of them enough. As a new patient, Dr Swindle and her staff got me into their office within 3 days and got me all set up for surgery. Everyone was very kind and helpful. From the moment she came into the room Dr Swindle put me at ease. She did not sugarcoat my situation, told me exactly what she expected to find, what would be done during surgery and everything I would need to expect following surgery. This “Dr” is the absolute rudest, disrespectful, non listening Dr. that I have ever seen. Unfortunately my epidural caused a hole in my spinal sack and spinal fluid was leaking causing me major pain after the delivery of my 3rd child. She insisted that I had pulled a muscle and was “being a baby” about it. I could not even hold my head up without excruciating pain. She walked out with nothing for me. BEWARE of this doctor. She does not care about her patients. All she cares about is her paycheck. I saw her multiple times in my first pregnancy and each time felt like I was being rushed out and dismissed. The last straw was when I had a medical emergency one week after giving birth and she told me I was overreacting to a very serious complication in which I had to have 2 surgeries for afterwards. DO NOT use this woman. She will talk about you to her nurse like you aren't in the room and not take you seriously.
