Dr. Kalorin is unbelievably attentive, personable and amazingly capable in his care. I found out I had a kidney stone the size of a golf ball AND a half, went on an internet search for the best kidney doctor, and scheduled an appointment with him. My husband and I both knew at that visit that he was the man for the job by his demeanor, knowledge and genuine interest and care for my situation. He has never been in a rush when he has seen me. communicating very well from both Dr. Kalorin and Wakemed hospital. My issue was referred to Dr. Kalorin from my family doctor. The issue was systematically diagnostic steps. The procedure went well. The recovery period went exactly as doctor described. Excellent!

Dr. Kalorin did my vasectomy. He’s a great guy and did an awesome job. The procedure wasn’t painful at all. There was soreness after and I was uncomfortable for about 4 days, completely healed in a week. I definitely recommend him, five stars!
Dr. Kalorin is great! He always takes time to answer my questions. I never felt pressured to make any decisions I was not comfortable with. My procedure went smoothly and I know what to expect during my recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Kalorin pertaining to any urology issues.

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Dr Kalorin - a 5-hour robotic arthroscopic prostatectomy. Was able to walk 200 yards just 3 hours post surgery. He is as sharp as a tack, really listened and patiently discussed my request for nerve sparing (he agreed with one side & patiently explained the peril of not doing the side - so glad I agreed).
