Had an initial consult with Dr. Messina in October 2020 for a painful bunion and hammertoe. Had my surgery November 2020. I felt comfortable with him performing the surgery from day one. My follow up visits were informative and he has the best bedside manner. He advised me to hat I should expect during the long recovery process. The staff is super as well and very helpful. I had two ankle surgeries with Dr. Messina and both went very well. He answered all our questions and concerns before the surgery and at checkups explained how everything was healing and how well it was going. Very good experiences no negatives.

Dr. Messina is an excellent surgeon and an absolutely wonderful doctor!! He is very thorough and truly cares about his patients. He performed bunion surgery on my right foot. He fully explained the procedure and recovery before hand and was very attentive throughout the entire recovery and physical therapy. Dr. Messina was great. Quick diagnosis- bursitis- and suggested at home treatment first and if that didn't work i could get a cortisone shot. I thought i might need a shot when i went back but didn't. Very good bedside manner and i like his conservative treatment approach. Will go back for future foot issues. Thx Dr Messina!
I went in and told the doctor about the pain in my food and ankle and Dr Messina was very helpful and very attentive to detail. I would highly recommend going to him.
