I DEFINITELY WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED DR. GRAF. DR GRAF IS VERY PERSONABLE AND FRIENDLY, TAKES THE TIME OUT TO ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS AND NEVER RUSHED MY VISIT.ALWAYS HONEST AND STRAIGHT OUT TELLS IT LIKE IT IS. I VISITED BOTH LOCATIONS CRYSTAL LAKE AND SHAUMBURG AND HIS STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. I ALWAYS HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE.
Dr Graf did my back surgery and I found him to be very friendly and knowledgeable. I am now pain free for the first time in 10 years! He and his staff are so helpful and really care about their patients. I highly recommend him!

I would 100% highly recommend Dr. Graf. He was very professional and made me feel comfortable. The care that I received was thorough the days since have been accompanied by comfort (something I didn’t Find elsewhere).

After a work injury of falling off a ladder and a long stint of conventional treatment (injections, physical therapy, theraputic massage, exercise) finding only 1-2 days temporary relief of pain at best, I hesitantly committed to double fusion cervical surgery of my C5-6 & C6-7 this past May (2019). Dr. Graf was quite knowledgeable, as well as very skilled. He was able to talk me through my diagnosis, as well as my treatment. My surgery was not an easy one, but my recovery went just as planned. I was pleased to be able to say that the pain I have felt for over a decade was essentially immediately gone and I felt very good other than expected post-op discomfort. Dr. Graf and the Illinois Spine Institute were recommended to me by a close friend who had been fighting back pain for some time. My situation was more urgent. I contacted the office on a Monday in April and Dr, Graf was able to see me by Thursday. Surgery was needed to relieve the pressure on my spinal cord which had caused me to lose muscle control in my left leg. If you're searching for a knowledgeable Dr. who does his job well he's your guy. Very personable, explains things thoroughly, great bedside manner, good staff. He did an Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion. Highly recommend.
