Dr. Graf and the staff at the Illinois Spine Institute in Crystal Lake were absolutely wonderful! I had been dealing with lower back pain and nerve pain shooting down my leg for months and Dr. Graf was the only doctor that took me seriously. He was able to book me in for surgery within 2 weeks of seeing him and really seemed to care about the amount of pain I was in. He takes time with his patients during visits and he even went out of his way to hunt down the anesthesiologist right before they wheeled me in for surgery to a... read more

Dr. Graf was absolutely amazing! He cares very deeply for his patients and advocates in every way for them. I saw Dr. Graf for a work comp injury and he was very knowledgeable about the whole thing. He wants to do whats best for his patients and the least invasive way to go first. I would recommend him to everyone! If you need a doctor for back pain go see him! If I could give 20 stars I would without a doubt!

Dr. Graf was the third spine surgeon I went to see for L4 L5 spine problem. The other two doctor spent very little time explaining my issues, just wanted to do a spinal fusion. Dr. Graf explained I did not need a spinal fusion. Instead he performed a L4 L5 decompression and a partial laminectomy. My surgery was a major success. I am pain free, for the first time in years. Dr. Graf and his staff are Awesome!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Graf if you have spine issues!!!

Dr. Graf was extremely helpful and really cared about my back issues. He explained my options in a way that made me feel that he wasn't just in it for the money. His staff is very friendly as well. Ultimately I had an anterior lumbar fusion done, and the outcome was better than I expected. Will definitely go to Dr. Graf if I have any other spine issues. I've recommended him and his staff to multiple people already. Very, very pleased with the whole process. Thank you Dr. Graf!

Better learn some professional courtesy, you do too have access to Akumin MRI online. I know you are busy but that was so rude of you! I am not sure that I can trust you if you stiff me when I need support!

Highly recommend Dr Graf. He was recommended to me by a friend who had years of back issues resolved through surgery. I decided to see Dr Graf after experiencing 10 years of back problems and increasing limitations to everyday life. He was very personable and knowledgeable and was willing to listen. Based on what he saw in the MRI and X-Rays, he outlined what options needed to be considered to address the problem. We decided on surgery as the most likely option necessary to resolve the intense pain and discomfort. Immediatel... read more

I got my C5 and C6 ACDF with Dr Graf. He and his team did a great job. He was very explicative about the procedure. The post surgery follow up could have be better but the over all follow up was good. 7 months after I am close to full recovery and back to normal life/activities.

Dr. Graf was incredible. I had been literally crawling around my home for 16 days after a disk herniated in my L5/S1 joint. I knew I needed surgery. Went to another location and then had Dr. Graf as a second opinion. His staff squeezed me in for a late appt on Friday and he was able to get me into surgery by TUESDAY! Even in this Covid world - the staff worked with me and my insurance to get it all approved in less than 4 days. I crawled into the hospital (per say) and walked out. Best decision EVER to go with him. The first... read more

I was referred to Dr Graf by another doctor and I’m so glad that I was! Dr Graf immediately recommended a minimally invasive procedure to alleviate the pressure on my sciatic nerve that was being caused by a herniated disc. The surgery was outpatient and almost immediately, I felt so much better! I no longer have sharp pain in my lower leg that I had been dealing with for so long. Dr Graf is incredible!!!!!
