I have been terrified all my life of the word 'root canal'. When my dentist told me I had to have one I was scared to death. From the minute I walked through the door (with my son beside me for comfort) Dr. Geerlings and his staff immediately made me feel comfortable. He explained every step and did the whole process without pain, and allowed my son to sit beside me and hold my hand. After this I really don't see what the 'horrible experience' everyone has had. Excellent! Dr. Geerlings and the staff were all so pleasant. The office is very nicely decorated with a view of a wooded area behind the office while you are in the dental chair.

Absolutely the best in the area and I have no reservations/hesitations in referring him for anyone in need of endodontic services. I do not have insurance and expected to pay the full amount out of pocket, so no surprises for me. My local dentist recommended tooth extraction and replacement with an implant but I chose to consult with Dr. Geerlings first and I believe we made the right choice. I have used him before and have respect for his entire team of professionals.

The other reviews regarding issues with billing are true to my experience. I sincerely wish I had read these reviews prior to using this doctor. The doctor did a good job, but I had to pay an exorbitant amount out-of-pocket, which far exceeded the price they quoted me. After paying the estimated out-of-pocket, I was sent a hefty bill for the balance between their submitted charges and my insurance’s allowable fees. HORRIBLE. They do not have their crap together. They are all over the place and don't wait for the insurance to pay their end. They expect you to pay at the end of your visit your entire total amount and expect you to be ok with them cutting you a check once your insurance does pay their end. Very lazy. They also don't notify you of this unroll your done with your visit.

First I should say I had a good experience with the Dr. he was pleasant and patient through the entire process and was able to make a repair to a tooth another Dr was unable to complete. Where my experience falls apart is with the billing practices of this office. I was told an amount to pay at the time of service and was assured they checked with my insurance. I paid at the time of service and then received a surprise bill from a collection firm a year later. I never received a call or mail.
