Do not recommend. This doctor diagnosed me with what he called a “rare disease”. His solution to that was to set me up with a nutritionist/allergist. Totally disregarding the fact that I have Extremely painful episodes that force me to go to the Emergency room. I called his office today and was told that in order to be prescribed anything I would need to make a new patient appt because it’s been so long since my last visit. The visit where he prescribed NOTHING. It’s June. He has no openings until NEXT YEAR. Forcing a patient... read more
I was disappointed while under Dr. Curtin’s care. He’s apparently the it guy in this area for treatment of gastroparesis. I expressed that I’m never hungry and always uncomfortable with severe bloating, lack of appetite and fullness. He is unwilling to prescribe any other medications for gastroparesis other than Reglan. There are other drugs that can be prescribed off label. I had asked his NP at the time if I could be considered for the G-POEM procedure but was informed by Dr. Curtin via his NP that I’m ineligible because I... read more
For those reading the 1 star reviews due to methane SIBO, please read this. Dr. Bryan Curtin is the best GI doctor, and one of the best specialists in general, that I've ever had. He takes the time to listen to you and explain his recommendations thoroughly. He will answer all of your questions in great detail and does everything he can to investigate your motility issues. Because of him I went from being diagnosed with functional dyspepsia (which is basically a fancy way of saying I have GI issues of unknown origin) to meth... read more

We were thrilled to finally have a diagnosis as I had been dismissed by many medical professionals for 15 yrs! I cried happy tears, regained lost hope. We profusely thanked him. I was ready to start antibiotics and get better! We assumed this was the answer; he gave us no reason to think otherwise. After treating me with 3 torturous rounds of antibiotics, spread over many mo... read more
