I went to Dr. Edwards for a shoulder injury. At the time, I was working as an EMT and was injured from a fall at work. Dr. Edwards literally slapped me on the inside of my forearm and asked if I felt any “tingling”, which I did slightly, and he made his diagnosis based on that. He said I had a “stinger”, which is basically a nerve issue. He also told me I was “too old” to be an EMT and I should “move on and find a new career.” I was only 32 at the time. GO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR! He is an embarrassed to the medical field. I went to him to seek help for a meniscus repair and it was nothing short of a complete nightmare. He was rude, pomous, erogant and belitting; not to mention he has the bedside manner of a cashew. He also shared with me afterwards that he saw a tumor in my knee that he could have removed but didn't bother to take it out and reccomended I come back to him for a new surgery to get it taken out later down the road. Horrible experience with knee replacement. No prep for prevention of blood clots-no Ted stockings ordered and only one baby aspirin a day. My husband got several blood clots and a year later still can’t bend his knee 100 degrees. Go elsewhere if you are getting a knee replacement!
Dr. Grandia is vey professional and knowledgeable and has been very helpful in alternative treatments before having surgery. would definitely recommend her to family/friends
I've been working with Dr, Grandia for years. She always listens and if x-rays are taken shows me what is going on on the x-ray. I've had my right hip replaced by her which worked out fantastically. She is now helping me with a back condition and I may need my left hip done. She's the best.
Dr. Grandia has helped me to return to living and working normally. She replaced my bad hip and I will be forever grateful.
Dr Grandia was very direct with me. She listened & answered all my concerns regarding full knee replacement surgery. Dr Grandia saw me just prior to surgery, assuring me of the process. I experienced an issue while in recovery & needed to stay an extra day in the hospital. Dr Grandia was again attentive to my needs. Dr Grandia has seen me several times post-op, keeping up with my PT & progress. She is awesome.
In the 1st visit with Dr. Grandia, she was very thorough to explain all options & not rush you into making a decision. Yet she did support decision. She did hip replacement in 2019 for me & will be doing the other hip this year. I have all the confidence in the world in her & would definitely recommend her to anyone.
Excellent Doctor, listens to your concerns and responds. I would not have the mobility I have today without her expert work, knee, hip, hand.
