Very happy with Dr. Olshansky. I have full confidence in him. I also want to commend his nurse,Beckie Elbert. She is wonderful in helping when I call. She always returns my calls and carries through with everything. She is a true asset to your clinic.
I saw Dr. Olshansky on a referral from Dr. Al Shariff. Dr. Olshansky was very informative of my test results & plan to treat. He was very patient, answering all my questions & very caring. His staff was very informative & caring as well. Definitely would recommend him & his staff to any one needing his expertise.
Dr. Olshansky took plenty of time to examine me and check the device machine for my pace maker. He also called in another Dr. to examine my pacemaker and they both decided I needed to have an appointment with a surgeon regarding it. I was also told to increase my medication which was a great help and advised to take an extra pill if needed. The only problem the generic prescription reached the pharmacy rather than what I needed but that got corrected with their Dr. Olshanskey's nurse's help. I traveled 7 hours to see Dr. Olshansky at the Mason City Clinic and am glad I did. He spent a lot of time with me gathering my history, discussing what a good treatment plan would be and answering my questions. The entire time he was attentive, respectful and seemed to care. He shared quite a bit of knowledge during our discussion which made it obvious that he is active in and stays up to date with his field. The staff is wonderful. Dr Olshansky is fantastic. He explains everything in great detail and never rushes. He cares for his patients with great compassion and concern. If you need a cardiologist and will only settle for the best, make an appointment with Dr Olshansky.
This was a one year check up for my ICD. I had allotted an hour for the appointment, but the appointment started late, which is unusual for the clinic. Once we got started though everything went smooth and fine. Very professional staff and Doctor. Took all the time needed, as they always do, and I was still out in the hour I had allotted. No stone was left unturned and all questions and concerns were answered. I am very happy to have the care of the clinic!

I feel that Dr. Olshansky listens to what I say. He gives me ample time and takes into consideration that I know my body and how I feel probably better than he does. I have every confidence in him.
Dr.Olshansky did a cath ablation on the 17th. Then do to problems unforseen had to but a temparaty pacemmaker. Then on Oct. 21st had to but a permant one in. Before they but the pasemaker in I was worried about not being able to drive a semi again. But everyone aseride me I could.
