I'm in my mid-20s and female. I have had asthma most of my life and the Alabama climate is anything but kind to asthmatics, especially if you aren't from AL.I explained to him that I was out of my inhaler and I needed to get an at-home nebulizer because I did not want to have to keep going to the ER for breathing treatments when I feel an episode coming on or if I'm mid-attack.He completely disregarded ALL of it and stated he wasn't too concerned about it because of my AGE and that my chest didn't sound bad AT THAT TIME. I have been a patient of Dr. Woods for 5 years. I have loved him from the start. He listens to me and doesn't interrupt, he answers all my questions. He gets down to the root of the problem. I have brought him new patients who also love him. He is a great man and doctor.
Dr. Wood has been my primary physician for about 12 years now. He has my diabetes, hypertension, and cholesterol all under control with the proper meds and diet. Dr. Wood genuinely care about me as a patient. Very gifted doctor!!!

I am sad to have moved out of state after finding such a wonderful doctor. I had a bad year and a lot of health concerns and he listened, seemed genuinely invested on figuring out what was going on, and took action. Didnt hesitate on referrals. I appreciate how caring and kind he was and that he took my concerns as seriously as I did. Not just a good doctor, but a good person as well.
I’ve been going to him for a very long time, he’s very kind and understanding, but is very unintelligent. He thought my father’s thyroid would grow back after he got it removed??? Very good for getting referrals though.
