Very caring.
I was seen promptly when I arrived. He came into the room shortly after my vitals were taken. He listened to everything that I had to say, sent me for an X-ray, and determined that I have arthritis in my left knee. I was prescribed an anti-inflammatory medication. To be sure that there were no additional issues with my knee and lower leg, he has referred me to Dr. Scott King, as this is one of his specialties. I was extremely pleased with my visit.
Dr. Bixler was very thorough and responsive to my concerns. He communicated clearly and clarified all of my questions.
Dr Bixler was very kind and informative. He took his time to reassure us and we felt comfortable with him and confident in his advice moving forward.
I fell and was concerned I hurt my knee or hip due to a subtle pain. To be cautious (my age), I went to OSS and found everything was fine. Just bruised muscles. However … I wasn’t made to feel silly for being there. I was cared for just as if I had a major injury. I appreciate that. Very nice staff and doctor.
I had been having issues for about 2 months after a fall and thought I should make sure there was nothing to be concerned about. Dr. Bixler listened and had 2 x-rays done which showed him and myself what he originally thought the issue was. I am still taking some medication and doing exercises and was given an appointment to return after about a month. I was very pleased with the care I was given. It was the first time I had ever had to use OSS in York when my primary Dr. suggested I go there.
Speed of being seen as I was in a lot of pain. Given medication to ease the pain.
Dr. Bixler Knew what he was doing, explainded the 'Whay, Why, & How' of the issue that my 14 year old son had. He was able to allow my son to understand what was wrong, how it would effect him and PROVIDED A SOLUTION to the issue! He was also kind and understanding. I took my son to OSS because the 'other guys' were not HELPING him and provided no answer as to what was wrong. I have been to OSS for other issues THEY are THE BEST Choice for Compentent CARE!!!
