I injured my right arm lifting something too heavy for one person. As a result I went to the ER at WellSpan but slight a second opinion two days later with OSS Urgent Care. The entire staff that assisted with my visit was great. Dr. Bixler was fantastic - he listened and showed me the X-rays and explained what I had done to my muscles and gave me a script for anti- inflammatory. Which has helped immensely.Dr. Bixler is great.

When I asked Dr. Bixler for a note, he asked me what I wanted it to 'say'. I said I wanted to know when I could Safely return to work and normal activities he said he would write 'whatever you want'
He took his time. The diagnosis was correct. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I have seen him twice over the past year for two different issues. I would highly recommend him to my friends.
He made sure I knew about follow up treatment. All future appointments were made.
As always the staff at OSS was amazing. From their first contact with me at reception, to my check out. Dr. Bixler as always was pleasant and very in tune with his care and instruction. He gave me exercises to try and relief some of my back pain until my follow up visit. I was pleased there was no uncomfortable injections right away as my anxiety was through the roof about the visit. Very caring.
I was seen promptly when I arrived. He came into the room shortly after my vitals were taken. He listened to everything that I had to say, sent me for an X-ray, and determined that I have arthritis in my left knee. I was prescribed an anti-inflammatory medication. To be sure that there were no additional issues with my knee and lower leg, he has referred me to Dr. Scott King, as this is one of his specialties. I was extremely pleased with my visit.
